The brig Lady Washington, the Official Ship of the State of Washington, and the topsail ketch Hawaiian Chieftain, have announced their 2012-2013 tour of California ports. Each fall and winter, the two tall ships bring living history educational programs to K-12 students, and they offer sailing excursions and tours to the general public. Tickets are available for public excursions online or by calling 800-200-5239. Educators, home school groups, and administrators interested in scheduling a K-12 educational program should call 800-200-5239. Scholarships are available for Title I schools, that is, those with 40 percent or more of their students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. As well as excursions, both vessels are available to charter for weddings, film and TV productions, corporate events, and other group activities.
